Bio: Kelly sells booth space for the National Home Show. Prior to joining the National Home Show team in 2007, Kelly spent more than 8 years in sales with American Standard. When she is not hustling and bustling with the show, Kelly enjoys the outdoors. You can find her running, hiking, rock climbing and even competing in dragon boat races!
Exhibitor Tip: It takes 3 seconds to draw someone into your booth! Always keep your eyes open for prospective clients. The bigger the booth, the better the results. Size does matter!

Bio: Ricki sells booth space for the National Home Show. Ricki brings more than 25 years of experience in the consumer show industry to the table. You can always count on Ricki to know what works and what doesn’t. When she is not busy selling booths for the show, Ricki enjoys spending time with the newest addition to her family (her granddaughter)
Exhibitor Tip: Have a plan going in and know how you will execute it! Prepare yourself with plenty of marketing materials and be sure to collect leads from the show. This way you will have a qualified list of who to follow up with.

Anna is the sales manager for all Toronto Home Shows. Prior to Marketplace Events her experience has been in the Energy, Manufacturing, Consumer Electronics, and Media Industries. Her previous show experience has been as an exhibitor in both Trade and Consumer shows throughout North America. When she’s not busy managing the sales team and selling booth space she sings in a rock cover band and bakes gourmet cupcakes!
Assistant Show Manager
Bio: Sarah is the Assistant Show Manager for the GTA Home Show and the National Home Show. Prior to Marketplace Events, Sarah worked for interior housewares manufacturer/designers Umbra.
Exhibitor Tip: Better late than never is not a motto to live by with consumer shows. Avoid hassles and submit forms and other important exhibitor information as early as possible. In the end, this will save you a lot of time and keep you stress free.
Operations and Exhibitor Relations Coordinator
Bio: Cristina joined the National
Home Show team two years ago. Cristina brings a wealth of experience
including international gigs organizing consumer/trade shows in the U.K.
and Australia. When she is not busy with the shows,
Cristina enjoys to spend her time on the beach (who doesn’t). Add some
live music and bike rides searching for vintage finds in the city and she is one happy camper!

Sales & Administrative Coordinator
Bio: Moses Vanderburgh provides Sales and Administrative support to the National Home Show and Toronto Fall Home Show. Before Marketplace Events, Moses worked in the Hospitality industry for 10 years. When he is not busy crunching numbers and analyzing data, you can always count on Moses to provide quick and efficient service.
Design Tip: Colour Coordination is key! There is nothing worse than a mismatched room. Don’t be afraid to mix it up and add a splash of colour.
Show Manager - National Home Show
Bio: Denise is a trade and consumer show veteran with over 20 years of experience in operations, sales and show management. Denise has managed shows in several industries and markets across Canada. Previous to managing shows, Denise was a licensed stock broker and traded foreign exchange currencies on Bay Street. Denise is a a past director for the Canadian Association of Exhibition Managers and the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Exhibitor Tip: Make every customer feel important and give them your undivided attention without distraction - be genuinely interested in them. And above all, remember the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Canadian Marketing Director
Bio: From public relations to advertising Shalini has worked on selling retail products, financial services, TV shows and for the past eight years driving attendance to North America’s largest home and garden shows. Shalini’s experience in both traditional advertising and event marketing plays a major role in developing promotional packages for exhibitors and sponsors year round. When not brainstorming on new ways to increase attendance or create buzz on the show floor, Shalini is busy with her baby boy and husband who you will likely see running around the show with his camera in hand.
